No stranger to the respect for higher education, Brenda Sawyer holds two Masters Degrees in Elementary Education from Cabrini College and has since retired from an outstanding career in teaching.
One of her most memorable educational accomplishments includes teaching elementary students, Spanish for over thirteen years. When she is not out transforming lives, Brenda remains inspired by people and the acquisition of fundamental knowledge. In all that she does, Brenda is determined to remain a woman always led by God.

Being a victim of bullying made me a caring teacher
I like to say that I come from “humble beginnings,” where I grew up in the New York City housing projects and attended the New York City public school system. I was happy that I came from a “closely-knit” Christian family, where we always attended church and went everywhere together as a family. I was brought up in the Baptist church where I was taught to love God and His people.
